Does it handle Shopify refunds and returns?

Yes. When a refund is processed in Shopify, myBillPlease automatically creates a GST credit note. Same-month refunds cancel the original invoice; past-month refunds create new credit notes per Section 34.

What about partial refunds?

Partial refunds are fully supported. Credit notes are created for only the refunded line items and amounts, with FIFO allocation across the oldest invoices for that order.

Do I need to be GST registered?
